The Blind Side opens tonight, and the reviews of the film and Sandra Bullock's feisty performance are mostly positive. If you're looking for an inspirational tearjerker (or merely an escape from the New Moon mania) this weekend, The Blind Side just might be the film for you.
Rotten Tomatoes, at the time of this posting, considers the flick "fresh." (As opposed to "rotten.") And even critical naysayers are tipping their hats to Bullock's powerhouse turn. Some say this is her Erin Brockovitch. Only time (and award season) will tell.
Bullock's the main reason to see the film: She's believably feisty and funny as an ex-college cheerleader turned into a strong-minded, NRA card-carrying Southern belle with whom you should not mess.
Will you be standing in line for a blonde Sandra this weekend? Or are the vampires just too irresistible?
