Kirk Cameron, the former child star of the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains has never been quiet about his far-right Christian beliefs, including the belief that evolution is a hoax. Sunday marks the 150th anniversary of the publishing of Charles Darwin’s “Origin of the Species”. To subvert ‘Darwin Day’, Kirk and other like-minded activists are delivering 50,000 copies of an "altered" version of Darwin’s book to students at dozens of U.S. Universities. The schools include Purdue where, today, he and California-based Christian Minister, Ray Comfort, handed out the texts which include a 50 page introduction - that Cameron helped write - that includes passages that link Darwin's work with Nazi eugenics and overall misogyny.
In an interview with people magazine back in September, Cameron said that Darwin’s observations on the finches of the Galapagos Islands are responsible for our Godless nation. "Atheism has been on the rise for years now, and the Bible of the atheists is The Origin of Species," Cameron tells People. "We have a situation in our country where young people are entering college with a belief in God and exiting with that faith being stripped and shredded. What we want to do is have student make an informed, educated decision before they chuck their faith."
Here’s the video, people, of Kirk Cameron's plan to subvert Darwin Day and expose the evolution myth. He even tries to pass off intelligent design as real science. These people scare the hell out of me. Be afraid...be very afraid!!!
