Was there any doubt that it wouldn't surpass what Twilight made or Harry Potter for that matter.

Yeah, I'd pretty much say it was a given considering all the hype and the mad devotion of Twilight fans.

Thats awesome!! I am glad that they are releasing Eclipse in July as well!! I am glad they are not waiting us wait FOREVER to see it.
