Every year in the Feroe islands, located between Scotland and Iceland, a territory of Denmark, it is a custom for young men to slaughter Calderon dolphins as a symbol of achieving adulthood. It is their belief that this cruel and inhumane sport is an important part of their culture and history. The dolphins are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hocks and do not die instantly. Their cry sounds like that of a new-born child.
Nothing is being done about this practice and, like all the other species of dolphins, the calderon dolphin is nearing extinction.
Petition to help these innocent, defenseless creatures

"Don't know what the world is going to do
Or if we can get off now the road that we're on
There's hate in my brother's eye but as the time goes by
I get harder
They say we learn by our mistakes and then we carry on
Sometimes i'm not sure sometimes i'm not sure
There's no brakes on this car as it rolls down the hill
My muscles are straining now my foot's through the floor
Perhaps that's why perhaps that's why...
I see the dolphin and it makes me cry
As i look in your eye i look in your eye
As the time goes by makes me cry.
Don't wanna to go to school anymore today
Because history she keeps on and on repeating herself
She can't forgive"
