According to a recent Yahoo Sports report, UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is suffering from a serious illness, which will reportedly keep him out of action for months. There's no current timetable on his return, but UFC president Dana White is quoted as saying "It's bad, It's real bad. I am worried about it. I can't really talk about it right now, but he is in rough shape". (Source: Yahoo Sports)
Due to the Brock Lesnar illness, the heavyweight champ was forced to pull out of the UFC 106 fight in Las Vegas he was scheduled for on Saturday. He's also pulled out of a January 2, 2010 match against Shane Carwin.
Brock Lesnar's illness is part of other recent UFC concerns, as Lesnar is just one of several UFC stars to be struck by an illness lately. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (staph infection), Anderson Silva (elbow pain) and Georges St-Pierre (unknown injury) are also included in the list of recent injuries or illness.
