I just found BookTour.com, a free site which allows you to share your upcoming events and then posts your happenings to your Amazon author page. It only takes a minute to set up and is a great way to get the word out!

anytime...i am a beginner...I am writing short stories now to improve my skill. I have written a novel but.................auugh ! edits are going to kill me.

The sad thing is that I have always done poorly in writing or English. Go figure, getting the writing bug this late in life. I figured if coming up with a short story book..maybe it would help pay to have someone else do it for me , editing...lol! The worst thing is that I do learn how to write well...Thank you !

Editing is an important part of the publishing process; as an ex-English teacher, I relied on my colleagues for that!

Hey,
I wrote a short story, They shoot Parakeets don't they ? '' I have an english teacher that wants to edit it for me..I wonder if you could read it and be a critic..honest one . I have three others shorts but if you were not busy to read Parrakeets. It needs to be edited again but it isn't a bad read .
I do not know whether to quit and go back to school ?
I always hated my English teacher in school . Well college was Ok.
