I wrote this out of friendship and because I've always known you weren't an angry pe*** hating anything. Most of the folks on here (male or female or whatever) have grown to adore you because of who you are. I may enjoy getting spanked by you from time to time but the bottom line: I love you lady. you good people!

We women must raise our boys carefully
Instill respect for all humanity
I believe that my dad's purpose in life was to make my mom smile. She had lost both her parents when she was twelve. Two of her brothers were killed in action in WWII and a third came home only to eventually die from his wounds. The one brother she didn't lose to a war, because he was to sickly for service, died in her arms when he was only thirty-something. Yeah, my dad's mission was to make my mom smile and he did so - for 51 years.
I wrote this for Purr, but maybe it is also for moms.
(the day my mom got fired from her waitress job, late 70s, he went out and bought her a big color television - we never had color - because she should enjoy her free time at home)
and I do agree with your final sentence. Men who treat women as property, should apologize.
This read in its entirety, poem and comments, like 'cats cradle'. One long string; ends tied together, depending on how it loops (red, green or yellow) or is twisted and spun, with four hands and the prevailing wind, is how the game advances.
A nice tribute Robert. Purrr ~ a queen-bee of germinated core, her tendrils wind up through the madder; red, unique and tenacious.
:+)
"I hate to be a contrarian, but I don't agree that men should apologize for giving life to women. First of all, it takes both genders to produce life, and women do the major part. Then, without life, what?
Men should apologize instead (if they are guilty of it) for treating women as if they did give women life (emphasis mine).
But it nicely written.

And honestly, Robert, you do that to us, too. I can't tell you how many times my thoughts were dark and reading one of your post brightened my day. hugs
