Well here we are! With the World Series, now over So You Think You Can Dance can now return to its normal schedule, and this means the vote now goes to America, They will get to pick which dancers are going home this week. This is where things will really start to heat up.
The episode jumps right into the performance with the first couple hitting the stage immediately. Karen and Kevin is that couple, and they come at us with a hustle that starts slow and speeds up quickly. Karen is one of my favorites, and Kevin is still doing well, even if he had some issues that Mary Murphy brings to his attention. They have nothing but good remarks from the judges though. Ashleigh & Jakob are the next ones up, and they do a powerful jazz performance to a classic 80s song. They look amazing, and just by the two first two performances, you can see people stepping up their game. The next couple up is Peter and Pauline with a quick step, which is always a hard dance to do. Technically, the dance wasn't good, but the performance saved them apparently. Will America agree? At the halfway point of the night, we have Legacy and Kathryn with a Broadway performance. Legacy has been a favorite, but this wasn't a strong performance. He was great, but his partner was not.
The next half of the show starts with a new couple, Channing & Victor. They are both contemporary dancers, and they pick that style up. However, they don't wow the judges. Nigel has some strong comments for them, and something tells me with his words we might say good-bye to one or another this week. The next couple is more of the same. Ryan and Ellenore fail miserably with a hip hop performance, and the judges have nothing really amazing to say about it. Next to last for the night is our youngest couple in the competition who have managed to impress the judges week after week. Mollee and Nathan are adorable on stage together, and this week they certainly heat things up here with a hot Latin performance. However, the judges are not too happy with the performance at all, starting with Adam. This is the first time the judges don't love these two.
The last performance of the night is Noelle & Russell. These two will end the show tonight before America gets to make its first picks on who goes home this week. Noelle & Russell managed to end the show well though. The judges automatically come up with praise for the two, but I still think my favorite performance of the night began the show. Check footage of that performance from Karen & Kevin below. Tomorrow night we find out who America sends home. Did you vote? Who were your favorites and who needs to go home! Check back tomorrow night for my thoughts on this week's eliminations. Below, you'll have the list of this week's music.

Here is a Ten Star Rating Too!
I use to watch this program regularly, but became tired of it after a couple seasons. Sometimes the hype of it all gets to me & then it just gets a little boring. There are also many other good programs on in the same time slot, so I eventually just migrated away.
