Hurricane Ida Update

Hurricane Ida is now Tropical Storm Ida. The tropical storm made its first landfall when going over an island off the Alabama coast at 5:40am this morning. The storm moved northeast across Mobile Bay reaching the mainland at 6:00am. The storm is packing heavy rain that will move across the southeastern states leaving 2-4 inches of rain. The winds are down to 45 mph and should continue to weaken as the storm moves over land.
