The New York Times is still going at it; finding “stress” as the motivation that prompted that man to go on a killing spree against his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood.
Baloney.
As for me, I knew right off what it was all about, even while all the networks were searching for the CAUSE.
The cause was always right before their eyes, but, refined and restricted by political correctness, they refused to see – to see that it was Islamic terrorism.
Let me jump right in and say that surely and absolutely not all Muslims are terrorists. Most are You and Me folks. Many are our neighbors and many are truly peace-loving. But please, we cannot whitewash the fact that a contingent of them are maniacally driven by perverted “religious” leaders who cannot be religious at all since they command their followers to commit bloodshed.
I blame the killer at Fort Hood and I blame the killers who crashed into our buildings Sept 11, 2001 and I blame the killers who keep on killing Israelis (where it all began) – but secondly, or perhaps firstly, I blame the enablers, those of us who by omission or commission refuse to name the enemy.
We even refuse to BLAME the enemy – that’s how mousy we’ve become. We blame ourselves. We say – what did we do wrong? How can we improve ourselves?
We did nothing wrong. How about faulting the bloodthirsty savages for once? How about realizing that there is such a thing as pure evil?
In my religion, for more than 3,000 years we’ve known that wickedness is motivated by BASELESS hatred.
To blame the VICTIM is the first sign of a civilization gone corrupt and perverted. That’s how HOLOCAUSTS begin!
I’m talking about The New York Times and the rest of the news media and all the academics and, in fact, our entire generation that has been inflicted by the disease of political correctness. By our silence, by our explanations, by our apologies we give aid and comfort to those who keep on murdering -- and thus we become accomplices.
Without a cheering section, these murderers would find themselves adrift. Instead, they find themselves embraced. Oh, poor dears, we say – how have we offended you?
Stress, huh? Sorry about the stress. Most of us have stress and most of us don’t go killing.
Was there ever any doubt that this man was fired up in a mosque? Allah Akbar he shouted. Did we not know this was coming?
To find the cause, don’t even follow the money; follow the mosque.
Yet my neighbor is a Muslim and we are friends and within the mosque he attends the sermons are about tolerance.
I like to think that this speaks for the majority of mosques.
I don’t think we do American Muslims any favors by giving a free pass to the killers among them. I imagine that they, the vast majority of American Muslims, want their rogues weeded out as much as we do, and would rather have us join them in united outrage – instead of canoodling them, the killers, and approving them for the sake of political correctness.
I trust that American Muslims say No Thanks, for by supporting the killers in their midst through politeness we taint Islam and place all of them in the same boat.
That is not fair to Jews and Christians, and it is not fair to Muslims. My neighbor does not deserve to be judged alongside that man at Fort Hood. My Muslim neighbor wanted no part of this. He’s a doctor and he came to this good earth to be a healer, not a destroyer.
But our sensitive souls, our bleeding hearts, our flower children grown into journalists and academics, insist on moral equivalency. They insist that good and evil are interchangeable and compatible, and that for every act of cruelty there are reasons and excuses, and even justifications. They – the politically correct who walk among us – they share the blame. In fact, they are mostly to blame, for their words become deeds.
They may not pull the trigger, but as Solomon has it – “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Or print.)
That – yes that is the sickness in the land!

These two comments by you I find ironic and conflicting with each other you talk about tolerance but then you say you trust them. You shouldn't even have to trust them you should know already. Even the christian faith done their fair share of killing anyone not believing their religion views.

I hope you are not suggesting because someone did something horrible in the past, it makes doing it now, less horrible.
The point here is all too many muslims not only refure to let go of the horrible things religion used to do in the past, but want to make that the way of the future.
