How many books in the enter Bible? OT? NT?

I knew this...can recite the NT books, but not the OT...that one confuses me, I get them out of order.

We can recite them all but the OT makes me so nervous still as many times as we say them I still am so unsure of myself in saying them.

I knew! I'm not sure we learned that in children's church when I was a kid. But I do remember all of the things we had to memorize to be confirmed - all of the books of the Bible, the Apostle's Creed and Nicene Creed, the 23rd Psalm, John 3:16, and more.

I can still remember a bunch of the Books of the Bible in order:

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs,
Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs. I forget the rest of the OT.

But then I remember all of the books of the NT.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthian, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John, Jude, Revelation

Before I check the answer I think it is 66, but I am not sure if my memory is so good after all this time.

I did not know how many there was and thats bad because I have gone to church 30 years out of my life, I should of known these I know matthew , mark, luke, john, and I know the first couple of books and provebs and palms. and Revalations.

Yes, I knew that one. I mentioned in another post I went to a Christian school, and Bible class was the first class we had in the mornings. And of course I went to Sunday school and regular church.

I think I can still recite all the new testament books. I learned them with my kids as a song in Vacation Bible School years ago.

my husband would have known this but I couldn't remember. He knows how many "authors" penned it as well.
