How many books in the enter Bible? OT? NT? Do you know without counting them up in the Bible? Our kids do in Children's Church. These are among many of the questions we review every week. There are 39 books in the Old Testament. There are 27 books in the New Testament. There is a total of 66 books in the Bible!

I can still remember a bunch of the Books of the Bible in order:
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs,
Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs. I forget the rest of the OT.
But then I remember all of the books of the NT.
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthian, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1, 2 & 3 John, Jude, Revelation
Whew. :)
