Coupon Savings October 2009

I finally got around to adding up the figures in my calendar for October's coupon savings.

The total is $151.76, which is up from previous months.

Now that I am keeping a lot better track of cutting and sorting my coupons I hope this will just continue to go up.

As of right now I've already saved $131 this month with coupons....any guesses on what my total might climb to by the end of the month?

Refresh my memory...Do you get your coupons from coupon trains? or Do you buy them in bulk? or Do you get them just from your newspaper?

I do some coupon trains with Renita's yahoo group, but honestly don't take many coupons out.
I get a Sunday paper and what coupons come in the magazines that I get free in the mail.
I was getting coupons from my aunt for awhile.

recently I was blessed to get an entire box of Sunday inserts from Headstart. They had them out for the parents to take what they wanted but got no interest so I got them all!

oh...and I print a LOT of coupons from the internet...so many that my last ink cartridge only lasted 2 weeks!

That is great, Marsha! I need to try to keep track of my coupon savings, but I probably won't start until next year. I didn't keep track this month so far, but I know that I used $35 in coupons on Saturday just at Target alone ($30 was for Wii games).

That's great! I feel so proud when I get a good bit of saving in - I usually save between $50-$80 on a good sized grocery trip the way I see it is that I spent a few hours doing it it was just like a job that paid me $30/hour!
