Walgreens Sold Me...

The Walgreens pharmacist sold me EXPIRED Nyquil!!!  I felt so fluish the other day, I went up to the counter and asked for the Nyquil that is kept over the counter.

When I got home, I took some, but didn't feel any better!  The next morning when I was getting a drink of water, I noticed the bottle of medicine had been expired since August!

Unbelievable!

I took it back and the pharmacist looked at her shelf and said, "Well... the other three are expired as well.  Wow."

At least I got a refund.

That happened to me long ago, and I've checked the dates on everything ever since then. You should have gotten more than a refund!

The drugstore should be more diligent about checking the sell by dates. The product is still good after that date but just loses some of its potency. ~pif

My doctor told me to just drink a shot of whiskey it would work just as well and not raise my blood pressure as high. So now instead of Nyquil I take a shot of warm Cinnimon Schnapps, works for me.

Oh... I once had alchohol poisoning on Cinnamon Schnapps... for 7 days! No joke.
Last time I really drank anything too....
Nyquil rocks.. But I do understand about the blood pressure thing!

I did that once but drank Pepperming Schnapps and Moon Shine, I truly thought I was going to die. I don't drink at all anymore uless I have the flu and then jsut the one shot in tea.
