You know what would be cool Facebook?

I see a lot of us Gather members love Facebook, I held off as long as I could thinking it was lame.  Boy was I wrong - I love it, but I have the darnest time trying to find people there.

What I was thinking would be cool is if we could put nic names on there - for example here on Gather I am Ghostly Ghoul.  So if there was a Nic Name Catagory  I could put that in then people from Gather could find me over there.  Or you know people from High School maybe you remember their nic name but not their real name - again it'd be cool.

Now I know a lot of nic names would run together - I mean how many Crashes or Stinky are there.  But for some it might help narrow down the field you know?!?

Just my two cents - What did you wish Facebook had?  (Other than points like Gather, man would I be rich!)

I almost never visit that site anymore. It became overwhelming, with all the links and too many people, and too many games, and just too much of everything! I think I might like it if I could start over and not accept as many friendships and block games, but I'm not sure...

There is a way to block the games entirely or if you just don't want it showing up in your news feed you can chose to hide that game.

that's too bad. you can reset your acct or create a new one. i know a lot of people with multiple accts because they forgot their password for the original.

I love facebook too. I'm constantly playing the games on there. I've hoooked up with a few gatherers over there. A lot of people I work with are on there too. They're all addicted to farmville. Myself, I'm addicted to Cafe World. let me know if you want to hook up!=)

I'am hardly ever on facebook because there is just not enough time in a day.
I do connect every once in awhile.

I agree with you about the nick name thing. I am a daily Facebook user myself. I think some of the changes have been unnecessary and hard to get use too but oh well that is progress I guess. They have some totally addictive games too, lol.
That would be cool. I love my face book, I'm totally addicted to the games!

I hate to say it but I love facebook too! I was really resistant about it at first but my family is on there and I talk to them way more often plus a lot of other people are on there that I Talk to.

I only use Facebook to connect with my IRL friends and family, so I haven't had any problem finding people on there. I don't "friend" people there that are from Gather, because to me, that is what Gather is for, and facebook is totally different, so I like to keep them separate. Anyway... just my two cents...

I very seldom go on the Facebook site. Every once in a while I check to see if anyone is leaving me a message, but mostly I forget about it. If I were in a business I think that I would find it a useful tool. Twitter is just plain old boring, boring, boring.

I have been going on face book more lately because there are so many freebies to get there and to my surprise they do come so thats mostly what I do there . I just wish I could find people to its hard to find people on that site but what can ya do lol
