One has to understand the law in each state for this. I'm not a lawyer or a law enforcement officer but to my understanding it is only considered a double homicide if the fetus is viable. That is that it could live outside the womb... AND it is to my understanding that it is illegal (in most states) to perform abortions at this point as well.
Perhaps you should find someone with legal expertise in each and every one of the 50 states for the facts.. as I am only speculating from news articles and books.
this is just a thought that crossed my mind.... seemed contradictory to me so i wondered about what others thought......... i am totally against abortion for any reason....... and yes, i have had to answer the abortion question because my life was at risk..... i said NO ...... ironically the child i put my life on the line for had an abortion..... it ripped my heart to pieces......
as i type the fort hood shooter has been charged with 13 counts of murder and it is being discussed about him being charged for the life of one of the womens unborn baby............... life begins at conception......
