I'm not liking this "new" Gather at all. I don't find it easier to navigate. It's more dificult to keep up with other Gatherers that are not your "friends." If I link to all the "posts" "photos" & "videos" than my home page looks a mess! And, the posts seem to blend together to make them indistinguishable from each other. I commented just a week ago on another member's post comparing Gather & Facebook that I really like Gather's layout, it was much more user-friendly. Those words have left a bad taste in my mouth! I loved Gather because it wasn't like the other social networking sites, this just SUCKS! Why'd they have to go and ruin a good thing??? Am I alone in this or what-it's driving me nutssssssss!

I believe that there are some positive aspects to the recent changes, and overall this will help existing members navigate the site.
However, newer members and visitors to the site will have increased difficulty getting around and engaging the site. Also, visitors are almost completely cut off from site content...which will lead to a reduction in people discovering your posts, photos and videos.
