Now's the time to get those fall bulbs in, and I was really excited this year to have my own flower beds to put some in. I chose a really pretty Blueberry Frosting tulip that is supposed to be a pale blue with ruffled tops. I enlisted the help of my two year old twins, and we chose a bare spot right next to the front steps to plant two rows of 8 bulbs each, 16 in all. It will be a nice burst of color in front of the red brick if they grow well. I'm pretty new to this gardening thing, so we'll see!
First we counted all the bulbs to make sure I had gotten all that I'd ordered.

Then we dug holes,

and dropped a bulb in each one.

Hopefully, in the spring, the girls will be able to look out their playroom window and see the results of their hard work this fall!

Thank-You for the post.
Timing was probably the problem. A few posts around this time were just too provocative, so they drew so much attention that this was just not noticed.
Very nice Photo Essay!
Great job!! :D
Kids R kewt.
Timing... mebbe an issue
Title - THAT may be your problem. It doesn't stir the interest like some things do. Try something like, "Little Gardeners" or "Kids, Trowels and Tulips"
Try "click here for inappropriate photos!"
Or if you really want views try working Obama, Palin, or Jesus into the title! ;-)
:)
I love tulips
