help..has this happened to you with your computer

Last night, my computer went on. I had it shut off and in it's case. All of a sudden out of nowhere, it goes on and the motom was all lite up.

I think I have viruses, as Kapersky said high risk. I think it is caught, but not sure.

If I vanish from here, that is the reason. Nothing but problems with this computer since I got it.

Oh gosh, sure hope you can figure out what's going on...........what kind of computer did you get? There are lots and lots of viruses out there, that's for sure. It sounds like you may have some viruses. Can't computers be so frustrating?

Hard to say without having been there. One possibility is a bad power supply. Another is that the computer was in sleep mode, not truly shut off.

A virus is very unlikely.

My laptop has a virus right now that I've been working on all day. I think Nippy is right though, sounds like you had it in sleep mode to me.
