SI.com posted these pictres originally, of Sammy Sosa at the Latin Grammys with his wife, Sonia. Notice anything that might be, ahem, different?
It's almost scary to look at how much lighter Sosa's skin tone has gotten, with the way his lips have pretty much remained the same color. It makes us think immediately of the shocking skin change Michael Jackson had. For comparison's sake, here's a picture of Sosa from just this past May:

So let the speculation begin! Is it the result of prolonged steroid use? Cosmetic surgery? A case of Vitiligo? Whatever happened to Sosa's face, one can rest assured he will give us some answers about this eventually. Even if he's not telling the truth, it would be better to say something than to just never explain this.
