Finally the Barbados native Rihanna tells her side of the story. It was nearly 9 months ago when Chris Brown physically abused international pop star Rihanna. During her interview she opened up about her relationship with Chris Brown. She discussed her version of what happened that day of the assault and why she went back to him afterwards.

Rihanna explained that while reading Chris text messages, she got angry. She was angry because he wouldn’t tell her the truth. She couldn’t accept him lying and he couldn’t take her not letting it go. He then became violent towards her, shoved her head into the window, punched her in the eye; bit her ear and finger, put her in a headlock twice so severe she couldn’t breathe. He even said to her, “I’m gon beat the f out of you when we get homeâ€, “I’m gon kill youâ€. Rihanna said Chris was clearly blacked out and he looked as if he had no soul in his eyes.

After the attack Rihanna felt lonely and didn’t talk to anyone. Three weeks later she went away to Miami with Chris Brown. She admitted that she was still attached by love. Shortly after Miami, she ended it with Chris. “I resented him, I hated himâ€. By then she was annoyed by everything about him. Although she doesn’t hate Chris she wants him to accept the responsibility of what he did and not find ways to feel sorry for himself. She also stated that she is embarrassed she fell in love with that person.

Rihanna and Chris were not only best friends, but also best friends in love-for two years. Now Rihanna has no intentions on getting back with Chris nor does she want to date right now. She wishes Chris the best and admits she is annoyed that there are still some emotional feelings inside. When asked if she and Chris would get back together, she didn’t say yes or no, but she did say, “I can’t answer that cause you never know right nowâ€.

I am so glad Rihanna was able to speak without breaking down. She is truly a strong woman. What occurred between she and Chris was not healthy for neither one of them.
 According to Rihanna, “The more in love we became the more dangerous we became to each other-equally as dangerousâ€.
With that being said everything happens for a reason. It was bound for she and Chris to get together but also to break up. Rihanna also revealed being a witness to her father beating her mother and how he broke her nose. Maybe that’s why she and Chris got along cause they could relate to one another. When Diane asked the average woman gets beat 7 times before leaving, Rihanna said actually 8 or 9 times. Unbeknownst to her she had just revealed how many times Chris actually hit her! As a child I witnessed my mom get abused by her husband for 6 years and he jumped on her more than 9 times! The one thing Rihanna said was, once the wounds are gone you keep lying to yourself and domestic abuse is not something you want people to know!
