I'm listening to the talks about the health care bill in the background and someone (a Republican, I'm sure) just said, "If the IRS and Medicare had a baby, this is what it would look like."
Fox News is reporting that not one single Republican will vote in favor of this bill and neither will many conservative Democrats. Thank goodness.
Let's hope and pray that the bill does not pass. This is not the reform we need.

We need reform but a 2,000 page bill is not the answer.
Are they voting today or tomorrow?
And if it gets repealed? Will they return the money? Of course not.
Clean sweep in 2010! Vote 'em all out... there are only a handful worth keeping.
You do realize that a family of 3 will be paying $15,000 per year for "acceptable" coverage, right? And that if they don't have "acceptable" coverage and it's determined that they willfully chose not to have it, they can be fined up to $250,000 and put in prison for 5 years.
Is that really what you want?!?!?!?!?
We're going to be taxed on insurance benefits.
We're going to have our coverage dictated to us - at a much higher premium than we're paying now.
We're going to have less coverage for more cost.
And...the latest poll I saw about doctors said that right now 45,000 said they would quit if this passes.
Costs are going up, coverage is less, and we'll be jailed if we don't comply.
Are you nuts!?
'I told my Senators and Representatives that they should understand the insanity of 2000 pages of "Shall" and "Shall not"s. That bill could not be justified on health care... it is a power grab, and a disgusting insult to constituents.'
