I have PTSD, (NON MILITARY)

to get rid of the stigma associated with this diagnosis
a two star general must stand up and say I'm Frank and I have PTSD

I'm coming out of the closet
mental health wise
and I have two stars on my freaking shoulders!

Then people won't be afraid of being denied a promotion
because of a mental health diagnosis

because trust me that is the biggest fear driving a lot of people in the Army

and put more NCO's on the promotion boards that have PTSD

GOD!!!!!

That would help, do not hold your breath.
The thing of it is PTSD is not just a war type thing..... any severe trauma. Anyone who has such accomplishments should stand up, again do not hold your breath.
