I haven't been around lately...

Thursday morning we thought Lady had a stroke.  She kept falling down and her head was tilted.  As soon as the vet opened my husband got her in, I stayed home with my daughter, she was pretty upset and so was I. 

The vet pretty much ruled out a stroke, very uncommon in dogs and figured out it might be Vestibular disease.  It causes the dog to look like they are drunk or dizzy.  Very scary to see Lady not able to stand up on her own and as you know she is a big dog and very heavy to lift.  The vet was hoping by today with the medication he had given us, she would show signs of improvement and he was right, she is almost back to being our Lady.  She may always have the head tilt but we say it makes her look cute!

My son is home this weekend too from college and I'm so thankful to have him help me lift Lady here and there.  I guess it was meant to be for him to come home Thursday night.

Now that Lady is able to go up and down the stairs again I should be able to get down to my computer and share some pictures plus comment on my friends pictures.
