Anti-abortion Democrats will be allowed to offer an amendment during the House health-care debate Saturday that would ban most abortion coverage from the public option and other insurance providers in the new so-called "exchange" the legislation would create, The prohibition would exclude cases of rape, incest or if the mother's life is in danger, known as "Hyde" language.

but governing is about choices
I agree, but the real reason that these people have against abortion, even when someone is raped or their life is in danger is twofold: 1. Women are only good as baby carriers and 2. She did "the crime"(having sex) and should do "the time"--baby. They love to shame women and put them in their place.
