Don't get discouraged, Lynn. It happens and when the flagger or low rater gets bored, he or she will move on to someone else. I, for one, enjoy your writing!

I just checked out comments to my last post about helping people during the Christmas season. I cannot help but have this get me down. My reputation, once again, is sloshed through the mud, and Gather let's it go on, intentionally. The thing was about helping others during the Christmas season, and look what's happened.

OK, step back from that for a moment. You know why you wrote it. You know what you wanted to convey. I also know and so do others. There will be people even if they don't want to jump in and get into the middle of it, that will read that and think and maybe, just maybe, some lives will be changed.

You'll never know unless someone tells you, but it's a real possibility. And yes, that's the only thing that matters.

But Christmas is not about teddy bears. Christmas and teddy bears have nothing in common. "Teddy Bears and Christmas go together like peanut butter and jelly" - what a ridiculous inference.
