I live in a rural area, when I first moved here, the closest grocery Store was a 15 minute drive. Within a few years that changed and we finally had a grocery Store! That convienece ended when the chain decided to close some stores and ours was one of the ill-fated. Back to driving to the nearest store again-until another grocery chain decided to open a store at that location.
They've been here about 2 years now and every single time anyone walks in, they hollar out "welcome to your neighborhood Grocery Store"!!!! You also hear it from every other Employee in every aisle/department. I know where I am shopping and I am also aware that their store is in my neighborhood. Gets on your nerves after a year.
I am becoming more and more impatient with people who have no manners, chew while speaking and cuss and scream at me when they don't get their way. I love my job, I love talking to people, but folks who act like that put a dark cloud over my head. That behavior also makes me wonder how they treat their "loved ones", kinda creepy. Shame on them for not taking responsibility for their actions!!!
I noticed that there were far less Nestle Crunch bars given out this year at Halloween, bummer. It was 78 and raining here that night.
Still ranting about the amount of packaging some items come in. I am a Bzz Agent and took part in the Glade campaign, I think Glade could have found a more enviroment-friendly package, just my opinion. I LOVE the product-the Sense and Spray works wonders in the area where I keep the litter box.
Finally, but in the fore front of my mind is the recent spate of violence in this Country. Today in Orlando, the other day at Fort Hood. It seems like no one is safe anymore, anywhere. How sad.
