25.00 and leftovers vs 150.00 and not much leftovers

Pardon any typing errors as I sit here and sip my glass of Mascoto D' Asti after eating my yummolicious dinner of Chicken Marsala.

I was at walmart today  and saw that they sold the Macaroni Grill Chicken Marsala kits for almost half of what I paid for them at a regular grocery store, so I went back and bought three (one box says 5 servings, ummm they must not have teenagers), so  I got that some shrooms, and some bread get home and make it.  Just as I'm dumping the linguine in I remember I have a bottle of wine in the fridge for about 2 months now (at least) so I opened it, now on my 3rd glass I'm really starting to mellow out......and there i think is one more glass in the bottle (hic) no freezing left over wine for me.

So tonights dinner was a 'semi' home made Chicken Marsala from a Macaroni Grill box kit and wine, whoops I forgot to serve the bread that's ok we can have that for breakfast!.....

But its nice to get a restaurant quality meal for a fraction of the price of going to that actual restaurant......

I'll deal with the wrath of hubby over the wine I drank later, but my argument is that its been in the fridge for 2 months............if not more......

So i'm happy I had a great dinner, that I coupled a great (not expensive) bottle of wine with, my hubby is at Bible Study, my oldest son is at the fire station, and me well I'm as mellow as can be and not even gonna fight to get the dishes done today.......

but any day of the week i'll pay 25.00 instead of 150 to have a restaurant quality meal.
