I was fortunate enough to get my flu shot early this year. I am one of those who are at risk. I did have to pay for it though.
My husband's job always has the local clinic to go to the job and give each employee a flu shot and the company pays for it. The clinic was scheduled to go to the job over three weeks ago but they ran out of the flu injections and canceled. They still have not gotten any more flu injections in. The job issued each employee a bottle of hand sanitizer. They do not know when they will be getting in the flu shots.
Is this happening other places too?
I had not heard anything like this on the news.

My husband works in a nursing home, and he gets his there every year.
There has been a huge lack of the shots here.
The regular flu shots were about 3 weeks late, and still more here is needed.
The swine flu shots went to just those who work in nursing homes and the hospitals. The swine flu has yet to be made available to most of the general public.
