The bus was one transport option
I'll now cover walking from the ferry
I haven't tried the railway station
the rail service is pretty hairy
The alarm goes off at five-thirty
Shower dress and eat still half asleep
Head out the door the traffic's dirty
Ferr
y rendezvous to keep
Behold the morning's River Magic
The highway is the Parramatta
compared to this the Bus is tragic
forget the trains, a sardine matter...

I read a book, enjoy the view
soon we glide in to Darling Harbour
today we have a cruise boat too
I'm jealous as I have to labour.

The Aussie flag has pride of place
Pyrmont bridge I need to cross

Along the pier a walking race
up the
stair no time for loss
Exit onto Pyrmont Bridge
Some run, some walk across the bay

the morning cold is like a fridge
The Sea Museum's across the way

I cross the bridge in morning light
I pause to watch the monorail
it's still an interesting sight
to draw my look will never fail.

Walking now to Pyrmont point
Tall ships with modern share the bay
Now here's a sight to which I'll point
A flying crane to start my day!

At end of day I hurry home
Rainbow's end on Harbour bridge
A pot of gold in Sydney not in Rome
It's end of day on Rainbow ridge

I see dead expressions on their faces.
Commuters have to walk, I call it touring
find beauty in the strangest places!
Their curiosities sit unused on shelves
Soon its all going inward, spiralling down
That's what causes that scowly frown
You've chosen to be, you've chosen to share
All that you do and for all which you care
You keep excited about life and its living
Quite evident your time is spent in giving.
you revel in the sun's first morning kiss
and share a rainbow and crane's flight
You catch all beauty within your sight
And say to your friends:"Come share with me.
There's so much beauty I want you to see!"
And so we do thanks to you!
The unhappy ones, their lives are shattered,
but you say that my life is giving
I think that that is part of living!
but nothing compares to the River Cat!
Crowded, standing, crushed is about par;
The Ferry's luxury compared to that!
Allen I am happy to pursue your trail.

birdcalls
Is definitely River Magic
It's only luck that this survives
If you're in Sydney in your lives
Then take the Cat, it's a great ferry
A tourist trip without fee tragic!
commuting's such a grueling mission.
