Shooting in DownTown Orlando

Another distraught worker.. this one from an engineering firm.  Reports is he killed one and shot 5.  The suspect is now in custody.

This hits too close to home being that I live in Daytona Beach and have friends who work in Orlando.

Something has to be done to control this madness!!

As I keep trying to point out, it is not the foreign "terrorists" who present the real danger. It is all the little overwrought people who crack and go homocidal. The cure is not war, nor even police action. The cure is breaking through to really see the suffering and easing it before an explosion ignites.

i seen this on the internet as soon as I signed in today. Another sad day for all with the shootings and the murders. We have a scarey situation here in the Cleveland area, they keep finding womens bodies buried at this mans house. My Mom has been having trouble sleeping since this came out.

Seems in part due to the economy people are turning into murders more and more. That is not the answer.

This is absolutely horrible and so terrifying! I am getting VERY nervous about having to go to Florida (Miami) for our cruise..............sure hope we'll be safe; one just never knows anymore. And so, the violence continues to escalate........it just keeps on getting worse and worse.

I think incidents like this is only going to get worse as people get depressed over loosing their jobs. The economy is hurting everyone

It is scary to leave your own home these days.

Bad things can happen anywhere.
I feel so bad for the families of the victim losing their loved one in such a horrific & untimely way. It has to be a nightmare for the shooters' family members also.
Here we go again with dead & wounded left behind in the aftermath of a monstrous act perpetrated by someone who continues to walk, breathe, enjoy the remenents of the life they have ahead of them. The perp will be incarcerated, fed, housed, studied as to "what made him do it" or "what drove him to it". And he will continue on in this life after snuffing out the life spirit of an innocent.
That's what really pisses me off.
