Fair enough you left
Yes forever! but you did
You placed your self made
Self to my face
Thinking it's fun.
Bad enough we dined,
You suited yourself to taste
I did hold for a stretched long
Knew no route to voice my say
Fair enough you, by yourself left.
Your wingless ego might loose steam
Then you might your step retrace
We did tangle, but you over flew
Should we still, so I dissipate?
Fair enough we part.

perhaps would be amiss.
But words unspoken,
can never hold a test.
A parting of the ways,
may surely pass the time,
but when that time is over,
there may only be a passage,
on to the next stop.
There is no way of finding oneself,
without losing yourself to another,
and if there is a self-made man,
he must surely have a brother.

Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
I love how moving on can be stated so equitably. You've added just a twinge of soured heart for realness, suggesting ire and holding for that hired stretched long. Well done.

I love your words.
