75 Percent off Clearance Bargains

I am one of those people, who do not like to pay full price for anything. I love a good bargain though, and hunting for the bargains is part of the fun. This past week I have been hunting for Halloween/fall deals, and while I have been searching I came across a few non-Halloween deals as well.

I have been to three different CVS stores, but I walked out without making a purchase every time, as they only had 50 percent off clearance items, and 50 percent off a costume at $19.99 is just not a bargain to me.

Yesterday I stopped by Walgreen's on the way to pick up my son from school, and while I did not find any costumes I did pick up a few items.

I got 2 pot holders at 24 cents each = $.48 cents

Small scarecrows, which are perfect decorations to put in my plants 24 cents each = $.96 cents.

Package with hanging ghosts $.49 cents

I paid a total of #2.05 incl tax and I saved $ 6 dollars

Great deals at Walgreens too. You also reminded me I need to get pot holders, I'll add that to my list of stuff that I need for my new place.

Florida better be warming up for me. I head to Jacksonville on Tuesday and Gainesville on Wednesday. :)

Thanks Adelaide. I bought a pair four years ago, so these were a great find, as I needed a change.

It is actually quite hot down here, but we have it very very windy.

Awesome. As long as it stays hot I'll be happy. You're a lot further south than I'll be going though. Jacksonville may as well be a whole separate state.

Actually I did find a great bargain quite by accident. Gideon was sad to see his jack o lantern rotting, so I found a jack o lantern light normally $6 for $1.50. He LOVES it. :)

Jennifer I have been on the look out for one of those. Here in Florida it is simply too hot for the Jack o lanterns, as they start rotting very fast. CVS had a cute one, but it was only 50 percent off, your deal is much better.

bargains galore out there that I would love to be taking advantage of but have no money to spend!!
I hear ya on that! Don't forget, it's not really a bargain if you weren't going to spend the money in the first place!

As a clearance shopper I spend little here and there, but it saves me big time in the long run. I only have one set of pot holders, and they are four years old, so it was time for a change.

No, I saw it, but we already have so many candles, and the other smelly stuff just don't work at our house with all of our allergies and asthma.

I have already gotten a few deals on the things I was looking for for the boys. Like you I have been saving up my gift cards for Christmas shopping, and I am always on the lookout for a deal to stretch my money.

Great deals. We've had a really long week and haven't done any shopping, but we are going to be doing a little bit tomorrow. If I hadn't got a break today, I'm not sure I would be up for it, but one of my friends called yesterday and asked if she could pick up the kids today for a playdate, and even offered to take the 6 year old to school (she and her husband are also friends with the family, so it was ok with their parents). Carl drove to work today, so Elliott and I haven't had to leave the house today and it's been really nice. The kids even slept in a little bit since they didn't have to get up at 5 to take Carl to work.

We should be ready to go out again tomorrow. ;)

I love finding a bargain. My Husband always tell people that even if we had millions of dollars that I would still be a bargain shopper. Its a thrill for me. Its like I am getting away with something.

Those are awesome deals. My husband found a few good deals on halloween items at WalMart so I have some fun supplies for next year for Elliott, as well as the class I teach.

I got some good deals at Target last year, and I plan on going out to tomorrow, since I'm getting a little cabin fever, so maybe I'll find something then, if there's anything left.

I have to agree the clearance sales have been hard to come buy this year. The candy hasn't even gone to 90 percent off yet. I hope retailers will make up for this by coming up with some good Christmas bargains.
