Haiku

Today was our last day of talking about poetry in our English class.  Our assignment due Monday is writing a poem (wow that will be hard LOL).. and of course our essays on a poet are due on Friday.  Monday we will start looking at drama.

Back to today... today in class we discussed Haiku and had to write one in class (I wrote two).  She asked if I had used something I had written before.  I had not, as I've never written Haiku before.  OK so here are my attempts:

 

Rolling colored hills

Autumn's breezes blow so cold

awaiting winter

 

-------------------

Beautiful roses

Red, pink and yellow petals

Garden of delight
