I want to introduce myself as the new owner of...

Hi I am JanetW. some of you know me as DoxieAngels.

I am now the owner of this group. This is the first time of doing

this so please bear with me. I will be asking a lot of questions...

Yes everyone please post any ideas for the group. I also need to

Know who has who as their secret sister so if there is a problem

it can be addressed. I will moderate the articles ...my big rule is

No racists articles, I want nothing that will upset the group or

members. No using names unless you get permission to use some

one's name. Birthday , Anniversary and so on articles are an

exception to the permission rule. No down grading any other

group or member in Gather. Doing so will be a dismissal of

membership.

I want this to be very friendly group. Remember we are all Adults

and we all have feelings, so treat each other like you want to be

treated, with respect. I made it so any woman can join..it s not

just for Christians this group is for any woman that wants a

connection with other women.

Sounds Fabulous. Of course I think many will have issues joining as the group was last a private one. You might want to change to settings to allow more in.

How about "No Partisan" as well as "No Racist" articles?
I am sick of Democrats trashing Bush, McCain and Palin, and Republicans trashing Hilary and Obama. Why can't people respect other people's views (and disagree privately) and stop ragging on each other. It doesn't help matters, and it is so so boring!
