Disney's 3D A Christmas Carol

Last night I went to a Farmingdale movie theatre with my friend Gloria and saw this latest version of the Charles Dicken's Classic. While waiting on line Victorian dressed kids came in and started singing Christmas Carols. It kinda set the mood.

I have a complaint. I do not like 3D, Gloria does not like 3D...it gave us headaches and got me dizzy. To be honest there was no extordinary effects that even warranted 3D. Other than that the movie was fairly good. Jim Carrey was ok. Gary Oldman as Crachet was good also. But for a Disney version ..it did have some of the scariest scenes in it. Little children might be frightened.

All in all....still a thumbs up...just lose the 3D ! or at least let people have the option of going to a non 3D version.

Great review!
I am taking my kids to see it on Sunday!
i had issues with the 3d Toy Story, i think because we were third row and a few times i had to just close my eyes and not watch for a while, but he kids LOVED it!
I look forward to seeing this one!

I would like to see this, but I don't want to see the 3d version. I've never been a big fan of 3D.

I wondered how much the three-d glasses would effect. My favorite version of "A Christmas Carol" is "Scrooged." Bill Murray is great in that!
