Avon

Good Morning - I have a meeting with an Avon consultant on Monday. I'm interested in earning some extra cash and thought Avon might be a good way - was trying to find a 2nd job but with my work schedule - that can get tricky.

Is anyone an "avon lady"?? LOL If so, how do you like it?

There are a hundred Avon and Mary Kay ladies in my town. I would never be able to compete. And I am so bad at trying to get people to buy things...the "this sells itself" spiel wouldn't work for me!
I wish you the best. I wish I could do something like that. It would be wonderful to earn extra money without having to leave my kids all day every day.

I agree - the thing I like about it - or at least what she told me over the phone is that there is no "sales quota" and you can stop any time...the quota thing was big for me. Maybe to my advantage I work with college students - so I could (quietly) get the word out through them....we shall see though! :) Thanks for the comment!

I've never known enough people to really make this work for me. Although the extra money would be nice.

That's what I'm a little concerned about too Sarah! I may test it out to see how it goes....if I can't sell I will just stop.....:-)!
