Today Good Morning America aired the second part of their interview with Rihanna. This time she talked about the night she was assaulted by Chris Brown.
Past rumors about the text message were true. When they got into Chris Brown’s car after the Grammy party, Rihanna found a text message from another woman. She asked him about it, but he denied any wrongdoing. But as Rihanna said, the evidence was right in front of her so she continued to ask Chris Brown about it. Both were irritated and their argument escalated into a physical confrontation.Rihanna said, "It was ugly."
Chris Brown hit her so violently that Rihanna had blood in her mouth. She told Diane Sawyer that she thought to herself, "When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop?" Of the assault, Rihanna said, “There was no person when I looked at him. I was battered, I was bleeding, I was swollen in my face.”
When Rihanna was asked if she hates Chris Brown she said, “No, I don’t hate him at all. I actually love and care about him…I want him to do well.” Fans and supporters of Rihanna may not feel the same way.
