Seems pretty slow to me. I had a lot fewer messages in my Inbox on my email than normal. Usually there are several hundred in one day and I was on 3x today and right now there were only about 25 messages. The last time there were maybe 100? A lot less than usual.

I'm too new to worry about that, and I'm not in as big of a hurry as so many folks are these days to rack up the points as fast as possible. Not that I wouldn't mind it going faster and all, but I simply can't keep up as it is. I don't know how folks are reading several hundred posts in one day. Speed reading? I simply can't go any faster than what I do now.

I honesty weed through them in order. Friend list first, you can see that when you log in. I honestly refuse to go through everything in my email box, too stressful. I just log in to see my friend feed 1st, then go in order of my fav groups, then I see who I can respond to through who has given me comments. I have it down to a science and even then I fall way behind.
Usually once a week I will try to go through my friends and give them at least a couple comments each week to make up for what I am sure i am missing.

Yes, Gather Does Seem Really Slow in the Past 2 or 3 Days & Even Now !! Its Making it Really Hard to Visit Friends Posts & such. Then Commenting is more fun than normal, when I have to hit refresh. GRrrrrrr"
