I went bra shopping last weekend, and I absolutely loathe it. You know you're supposed to get sized pretty often, because any kind of change in weight could mean a change in size. If a size change is in order, that means buying new bras. And we all know that bras are NOT cheap.
I'd love to shop at Victoria's Secret and get all the cutesy bras with pretty colors, and sparkles and fun stuff. However, they do not carry bras big enough. I struggle with this every time it comes time to buy new bras.
I went into Lane Bryant. I was looking around at some of their clothes, and they have a lot of nice stuff. However, I was confused by the sizing. If you've never been into Lane Bryant, they have their own sizing! It's pretty neat. I had no idea what it meant, and I was trying to figure it out. The sales lady kindly informed me that their sizes didn't run that small. I told her I was there for a bra anyway.
She measured me and came up with a 34F. Yes, that's right. 34F. She kind of stuttered a bit and didn't have the slightest clue what to say, basically because they don't CARRY that size. Oh, they have F cups and even bigger. But the smallest band size is a 38. She said I could special order, but I don't want to pay $40 for a bra, and then a special sizing cost on top of it unless I'm positive that I would like the bra. That's getting a bit expensive.
She did have me try on a few different sizes in larger band sizes and smaller cups, mostly the ones that offered a LOT more coverage. I did find a few that worked for me in a 38DDD that are supposed to be full coverage, but don't cover quite as much on me. They don't bulge or anything, and they're relatively comfortable. Plus, the best part is that they don't pull on my shoulders NEARLY as much as my old bras did. They only had a couple colors, though, and nothing fun. Nothing pretty. Nothing sexy.
I guess at this point, I don't care what they look like. I don't want ALL of the same bra. Does anyone know where in the world I can find a 34F without having to special order? I'd love to try one on just to see what it's like to actually have a bra that's the right size...

I am looking online, but I'm not finding much in stock at a 34F. Plus, it's very difficult for me to be comfortable in a bra, and I'd much rather try things on before buying them.
It looks like something that I would want for a bra too.
Thanks! :)
