My Son's Test Scores

My son Samuel is so SMART.  He is in a public school program that he attends virtually via the Internet.  On Tuesday, he had to complete quite a few of the tests require by the school.  He literally aced them all.  After completing them, we noticed that his scores caused him to be at the number #1 position for his grade.  Needless to say both his parents are gleaming and Soo proud of him.

He also was selected to be a lead reader for his grade's reader's theater, where he reads phonic stories to others in his grade via the computer and he has done an outstanding job!  He gets the desire to read from his mom.  His spontaneous personality from me.  LoL!

I thought I'd share with my community on Gather.

It's wonderful to hear about the good things kids do. We hear so much of the bad via the news. I know how proud you must be. :))

That is wonderful but I think both of his parents are pretty smart themselves. You because of what I read from you & your wife becuase she's married to you. Great to see kids excell & reading to his peers is wonderful also. Congrats to Samuel & to his great parents.

Just wait though, my son is graduating high school this year at age 16. I'm now worried about him going to college full time at such a young age.

Wow that is so great. Great thing he likes to read. Here in Arkansas they have excelator readers. It is a program they reward the kids at the end of the 9 weeks with a dog tag and pass for a bowling game or sometimes a movie pass.
