There was a shooting at Fort Hood Army Base this afternoon in Fort Hood, Texas. There are very few details right now, but news outlets are confirming that at least 7 people have been killed and an at least additional 20 others injured. There has been no discussion of who has done this or why the rampage occurred, but police are confirming that they have one suspect in custody at the time. Fort Hood has been placed on lockdown until further notice.
Fort Hood is an army post located half way between Waco and the capital city of Austin.
