"Cap and trade is an environmental policy tool that delivers results with a mandatory cap on emissions while providing sources flexibility in how they comply. Successful cap and trade programs reward innovation, efficiency, and early action and provide strict environmental accountability without inhibiting economic growth." This is from the government site. This is there own definition of Cap and Trade. Hey, what did that say? Nothing? You're so right. Without inhibiting economic growth? How does it not inhibit economic growth. I just read a comment asking for research. So I went and got some from the source. Talk about vague. "It delivers results" How? "With a mandatory cap on emissions" Did everyone read the word "mandatory" What does that mean? Government intervention and penalties on businesses and households, so what will that cost? Don't worry, it will not inhibit economic growth: it will destroy any economic growth with it's government strangle hold. I could go on but what's the use.
