Very good. Sometimes we take things for granted and only start to feel how important it was when we don't have it anymore. I make a point of telling the people I care about how much I care!

It's kind of weird that you wrote this today because I just wrote something about grief. This expressed some of what was going on in my own mind as I wrote, but I didn't do anything so eloquent.

We went to several wakes this year and the stories that people told about the person. To bad, we don't schedule live wakes, so that you can hear how much someone enjoyed your company, humor, love, etc....

i think a living eulogy should be done every holiday & birthday; if not everyday.

d.d. Good job. It was a poem that is meant to be read aloud, not just a careless grouping of words, but phrasing that echoed! Memories of people are just that. Lingering echoes.
