This week's genre is Western. Your story may be serious or light hearted or as silly as you like just so long as it is 100 words or less and written for the following prompt

You probably think that I'm going to give you a list of things to choose from like sherriffs, gunslingers, tumbleweeds or dance hall girls but that would be too predictable. Tracy Fabre recently declared that the number you count must be three but in defiance to her I'm insisting the number be four and so
Your story must contain four of something

The sun beat down on the dusty street as they walked their ten paces. Sam thought about turning around after nine, but this time there were witnesses. Being labeled a cheat and coward would be just as good as being dead.
The voice off to the side shouted ten. Sam spun and fired. The first shot went short and wide right, the gun had barely cleared the holster. The second shot, wide left – he'd over compensated. The third and forth shots were direct hits – dead-eye center.
Unfortunately for Sam, they didn't come from his gun.
