Question about Photo Essays

views: 72 | comments: 36

On a photo essay, if you view the photos individually that is in the slideshow, does that give the person individual views along with the article? Or does that just count as one view?

 I thought it counted for every individual photo you view, but was told I am wrong.

You no I am not sure, though I view the ones I am interested in anyways :0)
Only thing I see difference in the essay photographs and the uploaded separately photographs is when I delete the old posts the photographs go with.
I give photographs more time on here then posts for I can keep up with the photographs a little easier then posts.....

You see ratings and views on them, so I guess they would be separate. I may be wrong, though.

I would think they would count as separate views but now you have me wondering.
A lot of times I go and look at all the photos submitted to give the person extra views....most of the time I don't comment on them at all, just go through them.

I'm not sure but if you view all the photos in a post and then later go look, each photo has one view attributed to it......so I think each one counts as a view.

I did that tonight and i saw comments before mine and it showed nothing. views or ratings that showed were just for the article itself.

I just checked the photos on my "Today's Flea Market Treasures" post from last Sunday......when I looked at each photo, it had the views listed for each one as well as the comments listed. So, I'm pretty sure that you do get views for looking at each individual photo in a post.

I was never certain on this. I think it would be easier to run them through as a slide show, but knowing our luck you will have to click each one separately.
