just because …

I may not have a lady to myself

But my heart’s not entirely upon the shelf

I see the world’s prettiest ladies everyday

They’re the ladies of Gather and they always fly my way

There’s Ms. Purr whose beauty transcends all time

Little Dawn’s sooo cute, it should be a crime

For Cathi, I would cross the burning sands

While Marilyn holds my heart and understands

Ann and Tracy, well, they always make me smile

They’re not really divas; being hot is just their style

Kris P, I dream, if only she was one

I’d make us a two, walking under the setting sun

Elizabeth gets prettier with each turn of the clock

And I must admit, those hats of hers, they really rock

Dianna has a voice that tugs at my soul

She is made up of compassion, forged with a heart of gold

I know that Kelly would visit if she could

And Kathryn’s way with words is always, oh so good

I watch Amy and Jen heat up the west coast

Yeah, for lovely ladies, Gather’s got the most

Esther is one half of my senorita fantasy

She’s joined by Janie with her dark hair flowing free

Gaedith she provided me a most perfect day

She knows that in my heart she’ll always stay

No, I may not have a lady to call my own

But with all these precious ladies, I’m never really alone

And just because all of their names are not mentioned here

They all know I hold them all so incredibly dear

So stand up, Ladies of Gather and accept the applause

I’d give you all a million roses, if I were Santa Claus
