we try to get out exterior lights up in October, when the weather's nice.

I'm not sure what 'feeling a lot like Christmas' feels like. I recently posted three new "Christmas Stories" for 2009. One is 'feel good.' The other two are typical of my writing.

We bought two new Christmas mug -- clear glass with snowflakes -- for ourselves. My wife is making plans for what to give our co-workers. Likely cookies.

To me, 'feeling a lot like Christmas' is the Joy, Love and Gift-Giving the season brings to everyone throughout the world. This is not about how much money you spend but that you have family, friends and neighbors that you can share the Holiday season with however you feel is best.

I was being rhetorical.

My wife feels the joy, love and gift-giving (giving of her self) all year round, which makes life tolerable.

It feels like Christmas if you saw my closets they are full of presents that are already wrapped and tagged. Plus, I have seen so many stores with Christmas items up and around the stores.

I don't feel christmas this year. It's going to be a strained year though. Everybody hates everybody, this will be our first christmas without my brother... rough year.

It has felt very different to me ever since both of my grand parents have died, Because we all use to go to there house on Christmas Eve. But not anymore. We get together at my moms house now.

It's WAY too early for all the stores to have decorations out. It's definitely to early to hear Christmas music.

We have 2 birthdays each in November and December plus Thanksgiving. I don't begin to think about Christmas spirit in November.

I'm scheduled for knee replacement surgery on December 8th, so I feel pressured to get as much Christmas decorating and prep done before that date. I still have some shopping to finish, cards to send and all the girt wrapping. Some of those tasks can be done sitting down, but I'd like to get them done early. pif
