It surely hurts a m
other's heart when circumstances keep her away from her children longer than absolutely needed. Week 1 I didn't have any gas because their father came buy and stole all my money. I couldn't even report it, because somehow he always convinces the courts that I'm crazy and that just makes it harder for me to get my children back. Week 2, I was on my way to see them when I bent to answer my ringing phone and drove over a huge truck tire in the road! 2 hours and 160 dollars later (thankfully I just bent the oil pan and it was easily repaired... but towing fees aren't cheap!) I found myself missing another visit. Then the 3rd week I called the case manager and yes "YES!!! I'm coming!" And see said "Oh no your not! Your voice sounds horrible and I don't want to get sick!" So, today I wasn't completely well, but I wasn't going to miss my visit either. Before I walked out the door my case manager called me and said that my daughters were sick, so I could only see my son. So, I rushed out and bought my son this adorable little outfit. Some wrangler jeans, a cheap long-sleeved shirt and a cardinals sweat jacket. Oh it was sooooo adorable! His placement providers throw him in RAMS everything because they are football fan, and okay, that's great... but my son looks really good in red, so weather or not they like baseball, my son is going to wear our baseball team jacket because it's red! Haha.
Anyhow, I got there and the case manager comes out and says that Clara will actually be able to come because she got better (Oh believe me that girl can be burning up with a fever of 103 and just as you go to take her to the ER, she is sound and healthy again! Beats me, but I'm not complaining!) But on the way there the foster mom's car broke down. So, we didn't think she was coming at all! Then 2 minutes before the end of my visit Clara and her foster sister come running in! Yay! So, I got to see Clara for a grand total of 2 minutes, lots of hugging and kissing and letting each other know how much we love each other... but I spent a lot more time with Marcus. I put the outfit on him and took a ton of pictures. I got some of the pictures here... but I'm going to have to dig around and see if I can dig up the videos I took of him too. He is an interesting little subject when it comes to the camera! Haha.
