Just by chance, I decided to read The Historian Halloween week. I am about 2/3's of the way thru it, and though I have read other books that have captivated me more, this really is pretty good. The story flows pretty well, the plot is good, and the writing is not bad either. My only quarrel with the story is that it doesn't hold my attention as completely as books I have previously read. However, I would read this author again---jjnance44
