Prompt for genre shortie:  write a Western, 100 words or less.  Your story must contain four of something.



Saving the OK Corral

Five Gringos riding on horseback.

Planning on a vicious attack.



Coming to steal my land.

Once cultivated with my hand.



Poured my back and sweat into.

Labored fingers, aged and blue.



Will die before releasing my land.

Would rather fight this grossly rogue band.



Didn’t reveal, I was unmanned.

Four silver bullets, at hand.



One, two, three gunshots.

Killing three degenerate crackpots.



The final two run on foot.

One in front of the other, shoot…Kaput!
